INGER MACKENZIE - ALWAYS AN ARTIST

Inger entered photography while contributing to her University newspaper in Norway. As a school teacher, she continued photographing for newspapers and magazines, including assignments for E.G. Mortensen and VG, two of Norway’s largest media groups. After marrying a Canadian, she moved across the Atlantic, where she became one of Canada's busiest models and television actresses. She still is an active member of ACTRA.

Inger's experience as a teacher, mother, art collector, actress and model, gives her a unique perspective as a photographer. Throughout her journey, she has attended many of the world’s leading photography courses and workshops.

Her clients span from architectural design firms, construction companies, car dealerships, professional firms, communication and marketing firms, to food production plants and clothing manufacturers. She enjoys being able to cover both architectural photos, products and portraits for company websites.

Inger’s photography is about "painting with light", creating an image where "less is more" and "finding beauty in everything and everyone".

Even though recognizing real beauty comes from within, she believes in the importance of the right imaging for promotional portraits. She has the help of make up artists and hair stylists to take a portrait to the next level.

A consistent supporter of numerous charities; Inger has donated her photographic services to fundraisers and marketing campaigns. She has written and published many human interest stories and articles that inspire, all supported by her beautiful photographs.

A testimonial to her talent, Inger received the “BEST OF HOUZZ 2019” and “BEST OF HOUZZ 2021” awards for Design Photography, and has been awarded "Oakville's Best Photographer" for four consecutive years.

For Inger, among the many highlights of being a photographer; is fulfilling her desire to make a difference. This whether by hearing a client say “thank you for the best portrait of me ever"!”, or simply by bringing attention to a charity or cause close to her heart.

Inger “lives & loves” photography, a passion she hopes to have the opportunity to share with you.
